Bookkeeper, Sales, Admin Assistant

Full-Time, Year-round

Tofino Kombucha is an established functional beverage producer supplying the Western Canadian grocery and retail market with a mission to be your gateway to better nutrition and better health. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who is willing to take on a wide range of supportive tasks. The ideal candidate is here for the long term and willing to grow with the company.

The Bookkeeper, Sales, and Admin Assistant role combines accounting and administrative duties, including maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, entering production records, spreadsheet management, shipping logistics, and providing general office support. The Admin Assistant will work closely with the Brewery Manager and Head Brewer to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the production facility.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping:

    • Record financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, production records). 

    • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements. 

    • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks. 

  • Sales Administration:

    • Contact customers to collect orders and process payments. 

    • Generate invoices and track outstanding balances. 

    • Respond to customer inquiries and provide sales support. 

    • Manage sales-related paperwork and correspondence. 

    • Schedule and packaging online/direct orders.

  • Administrative and Logistic Support:

    • Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage correspondence. 

    • Maintain an organized filing system. 

    • Schedule shipment of customer orders and delivery of supplies.

    • Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

    • Order and manage office supplies. 

    • Provide general office support and assistance. 

    • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth shipping operations.

    • Maintain a clean office by sweeping, mopping, and emptying the garbage/recycling.

    • Be willing to help the packaging team cover lunch shifts if we are down a team member.

    • Production planning, sales and cashflow forecasts, payroll, AP

 Start Date:                 Immediate or flexible
Location:                     In person, Tofino BC
Work Schedule:          Monday to Friday, 30 - 40 hours / week, daytime shift with some flexibility in hours
Holidays:                     Long weekends off, two-week Christmas closure, plus vacation time as requested
Compensation:           $28/hour with room for growth, health benefits plan, free lattes, and free Kombucha
